These are my matches from Grappling Industries Brussels November 2024.

Everyone who has ever competed knows the feeling; on training, you know, so many "techniques", you have such a broad game, and yet when it's time to compete, you seem to have forgotten everything.

We call it tunnel vision.

Ever since I started competing, it has been my goal to be absolutely fearless on the mat; to perform on competition exactly the same way as I do on training, to be completely free.

Now, after 22 years of competing, and almost several matches later, I think I finally succeeded.
My game plan was incredibly simple: Get the first grip, pull neutral guard, connect to my opponent, and then feel and do exactly what is needed in every single moment.

Mindful jiu-jitsu.

This is what I do every single day on training, and that is where I perform best.

I had my best tournament ever.
I competed in three different divisions, winning every single one of my eight matches.
