In 1975, former child actor and then aspiring musician Brinsley Forde founded Britain's pioneer Roots Reggae Band. An ensemble that truly formed the template that others after them followed to give UK reggae groups a distinct identity. However in 1996 he shocked the global reggae fraternity when he quit the band for unknown reasons.
This video traces the events that led to his name exit from that legandary group
