Part 2 Lake District Solo Wild Camp in The Great Moss Valley, with SCAFELL views Hilleberg Soulo.

Part 2
My adventure continues as I make my way over to Scafell, I decide to drop back down into The Great Moss Valley via the waterfall. I’ve got time on my hands and stop for a long lunch. I then make my way over to the other side of the valley and head up Low Gait Crags. A third of the way up I find a perfect pitch with an amazing view of the Scafells. The sun soon sets on my second night and the evening is very still and quiet. The following morning the sun is up and I reluctantly break camp and leave this stunning valley behind . The walk back down is steady and I take in my surroundings on such a lovely morning. I briefly chat to a local farmer who,s bringing the Herdwick sheep of the fells for lambing season another sign spring is just around the corner.
I get back to the car and drive a very short distance to the Woolpack Inn for a traditional breakfast, why not and a great way to end my three day trip in the Eskdale valley.
