Watch the incredible story of a four-year-old boy Syed Ashar Abbas from Kohat who accidentally swallowed a nail.
His father immediately rushed him to hospitals in Kohat and Peshawar, but unfortunately, they refused to treat him. With no other options left, his father decided to take him to RMI, where Dr. Taimur Khan, Consultant Gastroenterologist took on the case.
However, we see the skillful hands of Dr. Taimur as he performs an endoscopy to remove the nail from the young boy's stomach.
Dr. Taimur stressed the importance of parents taking care of their children and having a keen interest in what they are doing. He urged parents to be vigilant and keep a close eye on their children to prevent accidents like this from happening.
It also is a poignant reminder of the importance of access to healthcare and the critical role that skilled doctors play in saving lives.
