What makes a bike good for beginners? Well how about simple, easy to ride, easy to maintain and super forgiving. This is my take and Vote for the YZ125X for being that bike and my experience on mine so far.
I have 26 hours on mine from moto cross tracks to snow blasting high in the mountains. The bike is all stock except the handle bars and grips. No regearing, no flywheel weights. The brakes are great, it is a 6 speed so it has gears from crawl to 60mph. it is super light weight for a full sized bike and can be thrown around through the corners very easy. The SS KYB suspension is of course amazing as one of the best offroad suspension out there.
