PIETRO CARNAGHI VERTICAL GANTRY MOVABLE PORTAL MILLING MACHINE UNIMILL 50

PIETRO CARNAGHI UNIMILL are movable portal universal milling machine, gantry types, capable of machining several different component in 5 axis or more, with all different kind of special and customized solution in terms of accessories and special equipment.
The product range is completely covering the demands of the energy, general machining, defence and several other industries that required a flexible and reliable solution: starting from a distance between the columns of 3000 mm, the Unimill centre can easily reach 14.000 mm between the columns. Height and length of the machine, thanks to a full cast iron floor workshop, that enable Pietro Carnaghi technician to install and test all the machines in the Villa Cortese plant, cannot see a limitation: in Pietro Carnaghi we are used to work with “big” dimension, therefore the longest gantry ever produced has a full stroke of more than 60 meters, and the highest machine has a vertical clearance under the vertical milling head of 13,5 meter, including the tool!
Several accessory heads are available as a full customization of the machine: the application and technological department of Pietro Carnaghi is always available and up to date with the latest development and technology (like additive, FSW, laser heat treatment, power skiving and many other). In fact, the typical approach of the customer is now concentrated never more on the machine specification, but on the part product that has to be realized. At this point the application and technological department is involved and study, with the support of the sales organization, the technical office and in a team work with the customer technician, the best process to complete successfully the production process of the part, matching the best reliability and productivity possible.
