We had an unexpected set back to our sailing plans and we are finally seeing a light at the end of a difficult medical journey. We will be sailing again and this video is an update of our progress to get back on to our sailing plans.
Background: Aron was admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery in October 2022. He was diagnosed with thyroid cancer that had metastasized to other areas, including his spine. Two large tumors were affecting his spine and spinal cord. He underwent 5 surgeries in three months. 3 spinal fusion surgeries and 2 for tumor removal. Thank you for your prayers.
