Aron & Janet Sailing

Hello there! We are Aron & Janet. We met in 2018 through an online dating app. Our first dinner led to constant adventures on land (traveling, hiking, skiing, and cycling) and now sailing!

We had our first sailing lessons July 2020 (during Covid). We purchased our first sailboat, Jeanneau 379, while still in sailing school. We anchored out almost every weekend, chartered a sailboat for our honeymoon in the Virgin Islands in July 2021. We ordered a brand new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440 and spent the summer of 2022 preparing for full time cruising. Aron had an unexpected medical emergency in October 2022. Aron was diagnosed with thyroid cancer that metastasized and required 3 spinal fusions and tumor removals.

Our channel shares our adventures and learnings as we continue to experience life together. We have been sailing much of the Chesapeake Bay. We are now preparing to head south to Florida and the Bahamas. Please subscribe!
