A beautiful and fully original 1971 Martin D12-20-12 12 String Guitar with the original Hard Shell Case and Hang Tags!

This guitar was a one owner by a serious collectorin the Phoenix area and we were finally able to make a deal for it. It received a complete neck reset, bridge reglue and the top four frets replaced as they were very very pitted. We releveled all the frets and recrowned them for beautiful fret feel. The neck is dead straight. As you all know, Martin did not use truss rods on these guitars. It's very important to have a great neck on these! This one has just that!! Nice finish crazing on the body and just a few player dings and scratches. Its very beautiful...especially for a 1971 Guitar

This guitar plays and sings again like it was supposed to! It has a 15 1/2 inch lower bout and 41 inches in total length. It has a 24 3/4 inch scale neck with a 1 7/8 inch nut.

What can we say about the sound of this beautiful 12 strings. It's pure Martin from the first chord. Jangling 12 string sounds that boom as only a Martin can. The new neck angle give this guitar excellent low playing easy action thats an absolute pleasure to play! Plenty of bridge saddle for future adjustments to the playing angle. New Strings that are ready to play when you get your new Martin Guitar

Ships in the shown Original Hard Shell Case. Of course the handle had broken off. We replaced the "rope" handle with a nice new leather replacement. See pic 16..
