I decided to step my pencil case game up a notch, this time doing a bigger inlay and using purple heart and maple to do it. I am really happy how it turned out.
00:00 - Ripping the pieces.
00:55 - Cutting the lid.
02:28 - Cutting the bottom.
02:57 - Engraving the inlay.
05:05 - Cleanup time.
07:03 - Cutting the male inlay.
11:00- Gluing and clamping.
12:23 - Lots of sanding.
12:56 - Paste wax.
14:15 - All done!
14:34 - It's purple! Wooo! :)
