On this trip, I'm driving from Said Hamdine to El Madania during the most dreaded rush hour of the afternoon. Driving in Algiers during rush hour is really awful, but because I'm driving in a direction opposite to the one most of the cars are, (in fact, most cars at that time are leaving Algiers, not entering it), I got lucky and managed to make it to El Madania in a reasonable time. I went there to grab a late-afternoon sandwich for lunch.
