Guess who’s back in the Witch’s Kitchen? 🧙🏽♀️✨ That’s right—me, stirring up trouble and cake batter in equal measure! My first love has always been cooking (before soap, lotions, and potions came into play), and I’m thrilled to share this delicious Red Velvet Cake made completely from scratch. 🎂 This one was extra special because it was baked for my son’s 18th birthday! He might be a little spoiled.🤭 Come watch me work my kitchen magic from start to finish.
See you next time

1 1/2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder plus 1 tablespoon extra for dusting
3 3/4 tablespoons red food coloring liquid, not gel
3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 tablespoon white vinegar
3 3/4 cups plain cake flour sifted, or all purpose/plain flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda bi-carb soda

Cream Cheese Frosting:
16 ounces cream cheese not spreadable, at room temperature

1 tablespoon lemon juice optional - adds subtle hint of lemon
*About Soap With Crafts:
Once, in a land not nearly magical enough, there lived a woman named Lauren. To the untrained eye, her life looked fine—job? Check. Loving husband? Check. Crushing sense of "Is this all there is?" simmering quietly under the surface? Double check.
Then, as life often does, it flung a flaming meteor of chaos her way. Her husband passed away, leaving her heartbroken and staring into the void (which stared rudely back). For a while, Lauren floundered—wondering if she’d ever feel like herself again… or if she even knew who that was.
And then—poof! Fate smacked her upside the head with a soap-making book (it may have literally fallen off a shelf). “What the heck,” she thought. “At least I’ll smell good while figuring my life out.” She poured, stirred, spilled things, and possibly summoned a soap sprite or two—but with every bar she made, something magical happened. She laughed. She healed. She remembered that life could be ridiculous and joyful.
Soon, she realized it wasn’t just about soap. It was about helping other women—those hiding their sparkle, worrying what people think, feeling stuck in the same old story—step out of the shadows and into their own wild, glittery magic. Thus, Soap Witch Crafts was born: a cauldron of self-care spells brewed with a cackle, a wink, and absolutely no apologies.
With a twinkle in her eye and hair that often defied gravity (no spell required), Lauren conjured bath and body creations that made women feel sassy, saucy, and slightly dangerous in the best way. Before long, she wasn’t just making soap—she was building a coven of women ready to live loudly, laugh harder, and get their minds right... preferably while covered in bubbles.
Soap Witch Crafts became more than a brand. It became a glitter-soaked celebration of life, love, and the power of laughter in a world that seriously needed a sense of humor.
