Persian Santur: Relaxing Hammered Dulcimer Music for Inner Harmony

Sharing with you this intimate, beautiful music session on the Persian version of the Hammered Dulcimer, the Persian Santoor (or "Santur"). It's an ancient instrument with thousands of years of history that has a big part in Persian culture and is made nowadays in Iran.

The way I play this hammered dulcimer is very different from how the Santoor is usually played in Persian Music. I use a different tuning and play in a rhythmic-melodic way suitable for meditation and aiming to bring peace and inner harmony into your life.
I have the sound tuned to the frequencies of 432 Hz, 111 Hz and 976 Hz which are well known for their healing benefits, as bringing balance and tranquility to the mind.
