Adam bought this HQ Holden Coupe around 18 years ago when it was still grey and already packing a 383 Stroker V8 engine. After a few years of cruising, Adam decided it was time for a full rebuild to transform the car into the beast it is today.

💥 The rebuild included:

Fresh Convo Pro wheels and lowered stance

Complete rewire and interior restoration

Panel and paint finished in BMW silver with ghosted stripes

Engine overhaul by C&R Motorsport Developments

Under the hood, this Holden HQ GTS Coupe is running serious gear:

No 15 Weld heads

Flat top pistons

Skat crank & rods

Holley 930 carburetor

Edelbrock 2925 high-rise manifold

4-bolt mains

Turbo 400 transmission with hi-stall

Custom shortened 9-inch diff

Originally a Tangerine 253 GTS, Adam had no problem moving away from factory specs. The result is a HQ Holden muscle car that not only glimmers in the sun but also roars like a true Aussie street machine. As Adam says: “I like to have a bit of power under foot.”
