Welcome magical makers to the very first full modification of the Ever After Mouse Ears Pattern! I’m Nicole of ‪@WovenTalesDesigns‬ , and I LOVE combining my passion for yarn with my love for all things Disney! These ears are super customizable and extra crojo boosting! With this modification you can give your hot-glue gun a break and bust out those magical sewing skills for a change. These days a trip to the parks can get pricey, so why not use the crafty way to save on your trip??

This is a video that accompanies the written version of the pattern (PDF available for purchase in my pattern stores listed below!), and will take you step by step through the crocheting and the assembly of the ears!

THIS IS AN EXPERIENCED BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE LEVEL PATTERN, AND IS DESIGNED USING US TERMINOLOGY. THIS IS THE WORSTED WEIGHT EDITION OF THIS PATTERN ❤️.

This pattern is also written to accommodate child size and adult size, and Is formatted as follows: Child Size (ages 4 - 10)/Adult Size = Sc 22/28. All materials and tools that I’ve used in this tutorial will be linked below :)

BEFORE BEGINNING THIS PATTERN YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE FOLLOWING FROM THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE PATTERN:

4 pre-made Ear Bases fastened off with 18" long tails
2 pre-cut Ear inserts
1 pre-made Bow, fastened off with a 91"/101" long tail (we will form the bow together in this tutorial).

Materials and Tools:

58/68 yds (approx.) of COLOR A, Chunky Weight, Cat. 5 yarn. {The yarn used in the video is I Love This Chunky Print in the color way, "Sunburst"}
32/42 yds (approx.) of COLOR B, Chunky Weight, Cat. 5 yarn. {The yarn used in the video is I Love This Chunky in the colorway, "White Mist"}
1" wide headband, preferably uncovered
Polyfil Stuffing
4 - 6 mm thick craft foam, preferably high density cosplay grade foam!
6.00 mm (J/10) crochet hook
Tapestry Needle (curved preferably)
4 - 5 LOCKING Stitch Markers
Sharp Scissors
Measuring Tape
