【観光地世界一の大洲でいちご狩りを！】[Strawberry picking in Ozu, the world's number one tourist destination!]

今回は世界の持続可能な観光地2023年TOP100選で、二年連続世界一の座を受賞した大洲市で、いちご狩りをして来ました。
こちら徳田いちご園さんは、初代園主が40年以上いちごと向き合い、観光いちご園としては20年を迎え、現在8ハウスでいちご狩りができるようになっています。
そしてその愛情たっぷりに育てた、紅ほっぺ、あまおとめ、紅い雫、淡雪、あきひめ、恋みのり、真紅の美鈴という品種のいちごを高設栽培しており、立ったままいちご狩りが楽しめました。
そして次に近くの十夜ヶ橋、永徳寺さんでお参りしました。
こちらは2018年7月7日の台風7号による西日本豪雨のため十夜ケ橋の境内が水没、本堂を建て直すことに…。
そして空海（弘法大師）が野宿をしたという伝説が残り、四国八十八箇所霊場で多くの番外がありますが、ここは随一の番外札所。
十夜ヶ橋御野宿所では空海の【御詠歌】「ゆきなやむ　浮き世の人を　渡さずば　一夜も十夜の　橋と思ほゆ」
が、刻まれてます。
帰り道には素敵なカフェも発見し、11日には大洲川まつり花火大会冬の陣が今年も開催されました！
This time, we went strawberry picking in Ozu City, which was awarded the world's number one spot for the second year in a row in the 2023 Top 100 World's Sustainable Tourism Destinations.
Tokuda Strawberry Farm, whose first owner has been working with strawberries for over 40 years, is celebrating its 20th year as a tourist strawberry farm and currently offers strawberry picking in eight greenhouses.
The strawberries that he has lovingly grown are Benihoppe, Amaotome, Akai Shizuku, Awayuki, Akihime, Koiminori, and Shinku no Misuzu, which are grown on elevated beds, allowing us to enjoy picking while standing.
Next, we visited Eitokuji Temple at the nearby Toyabashi Bridge.
The grounds of Toyabashi Bridge were flooded due to the heavy rains caused by Typhoon No. 7 on July 7, 2018 in Western Japan, and the main hall had to be rebuilt.
The legend also remains that Kukai (Kobo Daishi) camped out here, and although there are many extra temples in the 88 Shikoku Pilgrimage, this is the best one.
At Toyabashi Onoyadosho, Kukai's [Gohyaku] is engraved: "If I do not let the people of this world pass by, I will think of even one night as a bridge of ten nights."
We also found a nice cafe on the way back, and on the 11th, the Winter Ozu River Festival Fireworks Display was held again this year!
