කාවන්තිස්සගේ රාජධානියට විජය ඇතාගේ පැමිණීම
අපරටේ වර්තමානයේ ජීවත්වන දැවැන්තම ඇතා ලෙස සැලකෙන "කාවන්තිස්ස" නොහොත් "මහඇතා" පසුගිය දිනවල වාර්ෂික මැද තත්වයේ පසුවිය. මහ ඇතා ගල්ගමුව වැව් පිටියේදී අලිරංචුවක් සමගින් සිටිනු අපහට දැකගත හැකිවිය. කාවන්තිස්ස ඇතා මෙසේ අලි රංචුවක් සමග නිදහසේ සිටිනු දැකීම ලොකු වාසනාවකි. අනිකුත් ලොකු අලි පළවාහරිමින් සිය බලපරාක්‍රමය පතුරුවණ අයුරු ඔබ‍ට මුල් වැඩසටහනින් දැකගතහැකිවිය . එසේම ලස්සන තරුණ ඇතෙකු වන විජය ඇතාගේ පැමිණීමද ඔබට මෙම වැඩසටහනින් දැකගත හැක.

Considered the largest living elephant tusker in our country today, “Kawanthissa,” also known as the “Maha Atha,” was recently seen during the musth season. We were fortunate to spot him at the Galgamuwa tank, accompanied by a herd of elephants. Seeing Kawanthissa freely roaming with a herd is truly a great privilege.
