Wm. Malcolm 6X Long Rifle Telescope - Rear Mount Installation

So you went and picked out a piece of the Old West... only now you're not so sure how to put all those little metal bits together and fit it to your rifle. Well this video is here to help!
(Applies to the rear mount of the Malcolm 6X Long Rifle Telescope, with the heavy duty base plate installed. I can't stress this enough - please drill and tap your rifle to use the base plate to its full advantage. And for safety. And accuracy. No small things.)

Here's a little list of steps, just in case:
1. Insert dovetail & tighten center screw
2. Attach heavy duty base place & tighten as many screws as possible
3. Set flat spring in place
4. Set rabbit ears atop spring & things
5. Set windage plate atop rabbit ears & tighten two screws
6. Insert windage knobs and roughly center
7. Make sure scope block and TLC are attached to scope tube
8. Place scope block into rabbit ears and pass crossbolt through
9. Wiggle knobs and zero scope

This is the installation on a Uberti High Wall with a 30" Octagon barrel. If you have a round barrel, the installation is remarkably similar - just with a slightly different set of parts. Please contact us if you have a round barrel (or an unusual dovetail size or angle) and we'll try to figure out how to make it work.

For example: Pedersoli has 3/8" dovetail now and 1/2" in the past, Chiappa / Armi Sports might be 5/8", C Sharps / Shiloh Sharps at .486"
You may end up needing to file down the dovetail - but please call us first.
