Another UPDATED cover and this time it's Rip It Out by KISS, as performed by Ace Frehley on his 1978 solo album.
I redid the drums (to be more bombastic like the album) and included the bass in the video for this version. I also added the doubled acoustic guitar to the entire song. I originally thought it was only in the chorus.
I am NOT a professional guitar player, in fact I've never actually taken a formal lesson. I just love to play. My intention isn't artistic expression, but rather to document how I think these songs are played. Both as a reference for myself and others wishing to learn. I welcome any suggestions or comments that might help me or anyone else improve their appreciation of this classic music catalog.
