Well, #knitting #socks with the ribber on comes with a few more challenges, like changing needles from the ribber needles to cylinder needles. With this action, occasionally accidental dropped stitches happen, sigh! In this video, I accidentally dropped a stitch while switching from ribber needles to cylinder needles, so not only does this video include the scheduled explanation of planning the foot & knitting the pre-toe and the wrapped toe, it also has a bonus of repairing a dropped stitch! (I'll also upload a separate video that's the clip of just the repair of the dropped stitch for those who only want to see that portion as it can be very informative and this video is quite long.)
Obviously, this isn't my first dropped stitch either, sigh! So, don't worry if you've dropped a stitch. It happens. It's easiest to avoid mistakes, but learning to fix them if they happen is important, too.
The wrapped toe that I've done on this ribbed sock is the same wrapped toe that I did on my shortie sock. I've completed a lot more socks since I did that video, though, so I may say a few things differently and I definitely move a bit faster. Both videos have a lot of good information in them.
Once again, thank you for being along on my journey as I learn and share about my #circularsockmachine and all my fiber arts!
