What started as a quick stop at Yorkshire Trench — a World War One site rediscovered during modern industrial work — soon turned into a trip through two world wars!
From the quiet remains of the trench in Ypres to a park-up just 20 minutes from Dunkirk, we follow history’s trail right to the Atlantic Wall, where huge WW2 bunkers once defended against the Allied advance.
And to end the day? We step inside Saint-Éloi Church, scarred from the fighting yet still standing — calm, atmospheric, and the perfect place to pause before heading back to the van.
It’s not just a history vlog… it’s another Just for the Weekend adventure — a little mud, a little sea air, and a lot of stories between.
📍 Locations:
• Yorkshire Trench, Ypres, Belgium
