A taste of ROME…it’s on another level

Rome, Italy 🇮🇹 | Exploring the Pantheon, Piazza Navona & a Birthday in Rome

We begin this Rome adventure at one of the most extraordinary buildings on Earth — the Pantheon. Nearly 2,000 years old, still standing, and still absolutely mind-blowing. We share a few fascinating facts about this ancient Roman masterpiece and why it’s survived when so much else hasn’t.

You’ll also spot a very quick glimpse of Hadrian’s Temple — more of a “walk-past and admire” moment — before we roll in some beautiful B-roll from the previous day, including Rome’s ancient ruins and the always-crowded (but always magical) Trevi Fountain.

From there, we wander into one of our favourite Roman squares, Piazza Navona, home to Bernini’s spectacular Fountain of the Four Rivers, and visit the stunning Church of Saint Agnes in Agone, built on the site of an ancient Roman stadium with a fascinating (and rather dramatic) history.

To round off the day — and because it was Karen’s birthday 🎂 — we finish somewhere a little unexpected for Rome… an Indian restaurant, proving once again that good food finds you wherever you travel.
