[ALS R151 929/930 - Joyride from NS28 Marina South Pier to NS26 Raffles Place]
Date filmed: 12 September 2025
Time of recording: between 1008hrs to 1012hrs
Towards: (4) Jurong East, Platforms D/E
Train Model: Alstom Movia R151
Train Run: 418 → 209
Depot of Origin: Ulu Pandan Depot
Final Destination Depot: Bishan Depot (replaced)
Carriage filmed at: 12930 door A4/B4 area (No. 2 end)
AM/PM/Full Day: AM Peak Service → Full Day Late Night Service (replaced by 607/608)
This video features an Alstom Movia R151, trainset 929/930, which is from Ulu Pandan Depot (UPD) to serve the North-South Line (NSL) for the entire day (after swapping with Trainset 129/130 and before getting replaced by Trainset 607/608 shortly after), from NS28 Marina South Pier to NS26 Raffles Place stations, bound for NS1 Jurong East - Platforms D/E.
So happened that I managed to intercept with this R151 trainset after riding the KHI C151. Initially supposed to be on Train Run Number (TRN) 418, Trainset 929/930 got reformed to run on TRN 209 instead and Trainset 129/130 to TRN 418.
However at the beginning of the video (or even before I recorded this video), there was an announcment being played on both onboard Trainset 929/930 and at NS28 Marina South Pier, that train services would be slightly delayed due to a "train fault" at NS28 Marina South Pier. Very likely that Trainset 929/930 developed a fault shortly before this, but still managed to run for a short while before it got replaced by Trainset 607/608 into BSD.
Trainset 929/930 is also the 63rd R151 to make its North-South Line Debut Run.
