Easy, cozy, and full of flavor! This slow cooker beef stew is the ultimate comfort food for any day of the week.”
Ingredients:
2–3 medium carrots, chopped
2 medium–large potatoes, chopped
300 g green beans, trimmed and cut
300 g stew beef, cubed
400 ml tomato sauce (about 1 ⅔ cups)
800 ml water (about 3 cups)
Olive oil, for drizzling
Salt, black pepper, paprika, and turmeric, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
Drizzle a little olive oil at the bottom of your slow cooker
Place the cubed beef inside. (Optional: You can brown the beef in a pan for 2–3 minutes before adding it, but this step can be skipped.)
Sprinkle salt, black pepper, paprika, and turmeric evenly over the beef.
Add the chopped carrots, potatoes, and green beans on top.
Pour in the tomato sauce and water until the ingredients are just covered.
cook Low setting: 8–10 hours or High setting: 4–6 hours
(It’s usually best on low for a more tender stew.)
Once done, check the seasoning and adjust if needed. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
