Living in Florida offers some great opportunities to do unique things not possible elsewhere in the country!
Today we purchased a Banyan Tree that is an offspring from the HUGE Banyan tree that Thomas Edison planted at his Winter Estates in Ft Myers, FL about 92 years ago! Very few seeds germinate each year, and we were lucky to get 1 from the 5 that did this year!
Knowing how large these trees grow, we planted the tree behind our new RV Garage right in the center of the yard so that it has lots of room to spread out in the coming years!
