The King of Fighters XI: Eiji Kisaragi Combo Video!
PLEASE READ!!!
The second video in the King of Fighters XI Combo Video series, featuring Eiji Kisaragi, leader of the Anti-Kyokugen Team, teaming up with Malin and Kasumi to rid the world of Kyokugen once and for all!
Synopsis: Eiji's a quick and speedy ninja with a lot of mix-ups, block strings, pressure, and relatively safe special moves. He's pretty unique, thanks to a lot of his interesting move properties. His combo variety is lacking somewhat, however. He has no command normals, having to rely on his Standing C/D and Crouching B into Crouching A for his basic combos. He can also link his Crouching A into the first hit of his Crouching D into special moves. I usually put Eiji on battery, since he's pretty good at building meter, plus his LDM (in my opinion) isn't that amazing. Eiji's combo paths are rather limited, and he doesn't have a whole lot of variety, but what's there is good enough. His combos are quick, and do average amounts of damage.
Basic information: Eiji's special moves are rather basic, but very effective. His Kasumi Kiri (QCB+P) is a basic one hit special move, doing fair damage and is his main Super Cancellable move. Kikou Hou (QCF+P) is a vertical energy blast that does good meterless damage if you land a Standing C/D. It also causes a wall bounce on counter hit. Ryuu Kagejin (DP+P) is a strange move. It can be Super Cancelled out of. On counter hit, you can combo into any of his two supers without using a skill stock. Kotsu Hazaki Kiri (HCB+K) is a forward dashing slice that ends in a hard knockdown. Mainly used for set-ups. Tenba Kyaku (RDP+K) is a jumping dive kick that does multiple hits. Decent combo ender. Can be used for set-ups. Kiritetsu Nami (QCF, HCB+P) is a giant one hit projectile, absorbing all normal projectiles and doing a massive chunk of damage when it hits. Use to punish people who try to zone you out. Kiritetsu Kamakiriken (HCF, DF, D+K or QCF, HCB+K) is a super where Eiji dashes forward and does a Ranbu-esque super, and is his only Dream Cancellable super. He is immune to low attacks during the dash.
Extra Notes: Eiji's LDM, Yami Kari (HCBx2+E), is a command grab super (big shock). Dream Cancel into this after the Kiritetsu Kamakiriken. Does massive amounts of damage by itself. Another thing to note about Eiji is that he has a command dash, Kage Utsushi (QCF+K). The B version goes a short distance, and the D version goes a longer distance. Use this during block strings. It's also extremely good for throw set-ups. The reason for this being that his throw is one of the hardest to tech, because after he grabs you, he jumps into the sky, making it impossible to tech there. Basically, you have less time to tech his normal grab. You can also use his LDM in place of a normal grab.
