BIHODI PROIEKTUA (Eus)

2018ko udazkenean sortu zitzaien Peio Irigoen (Irun, 1992) eta Ignacio Arakistaini (Azpeitia, 1998) Bihodi Proiektua martxan jartzeko grina. Biak musikariak izanik, beraien arteko ulermena ezin errazagoa izan zen lehen momentutik eta hilabete guzti hauetan beraien bi instrumentak batuz, txistua eta organoa, hainbat alor landu dituzte: folklorikoa, artistikoa noski, didaktikoa, pedagogikoa, etab.

Tradizioa eta modernitatea batuz, errepertorio propio bat osatu nahi dute bi musikari gazteek eta orain artean eskainitako kontzertuetan jasotako erantzunak zein beraien proiektua zabaltzeko duten asmo irmoak, Debako zein Azkoitiako elizetan eginiko zenbait grabaketa argitaratzera bultzatu ditu.

Bideo zein audio grabaketa hauetan, errepertorio barrokoan eta euskal musikan jarri dute arreta musikariek. Bach, Hotteterre edota Vivaldiren lanak, txirula eta teklazko instrumentu batentzat idatziak jatorrian, modu finean moldatu dituzte eta txistuak pieza barroko zein klasikoetan izan dezakeen rol berri bat azpimarratu nahi izan dute. Bestalde, XX. mendean Gorka Cuesta, Naji Hakim eta Tomas Garbizuk idatzitako piezak landu eta grabatu dituzte.

BIHODI PROIEKTUA (Cast)

Durante el otoño de 2018, Peio Irigoien (Irun, 1992) e Ignacio Arakistain (Azpeitia, 1998) sintieron la necesidad de crear el proyecto Bihodi (Bihodi Proiektua). Dada la condición musical de los dos, la conexión entre ambos resultó inmediata y durante todos estos meses han venido trabajando junto a sus dos instrumentos, el txistu y el órgano, diferentes áreas: el folclorismo, la faceta artística, la posibilidad didáctica y pedagógica del proyecto y demás.

Aunando tradición y modernidad, los dos intérpretes que fundan el proyecto desean hacerse con un repertorio propio y animados por la calurosa acogida del público en los conciertos ofrecidos, han decidido publicar sendas grabaciones realizadas en las iglesias de Deba y Azkoitia.

En estas grabaciones, el dúo pone el foco en el repertorio barroco y en la música vasca. Obras pensadas en origen para flauta e instrumento de tecla han sido debidamente arregladas por los intérpretes. Podrán apreciar en dichas obras de Bach, Hotteterre y Vivaldi las posibilidades del txistu como sustitutivo de un instrumento histórico en obras barrocas y clásicas. Por otro lado, se deciden a publicar obras de Gorka Cuesta, Naji Hakim y Tomás Garbizu, representativas de la música del siglo XX.

During the autumn of 2018, Peio Irigoien (Irun, 1992) and Ignacio Arakistain (Azpeitia, 1998) felt the need to create the Bihodi project (Bihodi Proiektua). Given the musical condition of the two, the connection between them was immediate and during all these months they have been working together with their two instruments, the txistu and the organ, in different areas: folklore, the artistic facet, the didactic and pedagogical possibilities of project and others.

Combining tradition and modernity, the two performers who founded the project wish to acquire their own repertoire and encouraged by the warm reception from the public at the concerts offered, they have decided to publish recordings made in the churches of Deba and Azkoitia.

In these recordings, the duo focuses on the Baroque repertoire and Basque music. Works originally composed for flute and keyboard instrument have been duly arranged by the performers. You will be able to appreciate in these works by Bach, Hotteterre and Vivaldi the possibilities of the txistu as a substitute for a historical instrument in baroque and classical works. On the other hand, they have decided to publish works by Gorka Cuesta, Naji Hakim and Tomás Garbizu, representatives of 20th century music.
