Peanut Butter Bread
A dear subscriber named Ann shared this Great Depression Era Recipe with me. She asked If I'd like to share more and do a series on them. I of course said yes. So this will be the beginning our my Depression Era Recipes Series. It is Peanut Butter Bread that Ann said her mom made it for them when they had the ingredients. She said that sometimes they used Lard instead of butter on the bread, and that it was even better the second day. Well, I have had time to eat it on the first, second and third day...it was great each time. It didn't make it to the 4th day.
Do y'all have any Depression Era Recipes you'd like me to do? If so, drop them in the comments below or email them to me.
I hope you enjoy this recipe and the series. Let me know what you think and y'all enjoy.
