My Dad Went All-In on the Farm (Bucket Hats & Vetiver Grass Strips) 😅🌱 — Farm Girl Vlogs

This was one of those farm trips that felt simple yet unforgettable. My dad arrived with his brand-new “farm toys,” 2,000 vetiver grass strips from Chennai, and a strong new microplastic fencing system that we tested across 100 feet of our land. We spent a scorching afternoon under bamboo shade, set up sample fencing with GI poles, and finally dared to explore the remoter edges of our farm at Bimal-Sneh Farms.

Very spontaneously, we decided to spend the night at our neighbours’ place — Tatvaraj Farms — where we had a warm meal and lay on the terrace watching stars before bed. The next morning, the countryside welcomed us all over again as we returned to our farm in the cooler air. Some days at the farm don’t need big events — just presence, quiet, and space to breathe.

This journey reminded us why we’re building Bimal-Sneh Farms in the first place — slowly, imperfectly, but with a lot of heart.
