SVSU MITS #1 Indoor Meet | 1600m PR 🏃♂️🔥
This race was one I’ll never forget. Stepping onto the track at the SVSU MITS #1 Indoor Meet, I knew it was going to take everything I had. From the first lap to the last, the pace was fast, the competition was tough, and the effort was relentless.
I ran with nothing held back—pushing through the pain, trusting my training, and giving my heart to every single stride. When it came down to the final laps, I fought as hard as I could, chasing the win until the very end. I didn’t come away with first place, but I crossed the line knowing I had just run the fastest 1600m of my life.
Sometimes the result isn’t the story. The story is the growth, the sacrifice, and the moments where you prove to yourself what you’re capable of. This race reminded me why I love this sport—because progress matters, effort matters, and PRs are earned.
Not the finish I wanted, but a performance I’m proud of. On to the next race.
