I saw my shadow on the wall tonight,
it had my eyes, but something wasn’t right.
It spoke in promises I used to keep,
and asked me why I traded truth for sleep.
I drew my sword, it drew the same—

The mirror cracks, but I’m still standing here,
talking to a stranger wearing all my fear.

cutting through the mask to find my face.
