In the aftermath of the Second World War, the remains of the French army are sent to Indochina, where the Viet Minh terrorizes the local population and starts the fight for independence. Hastily equipped by the Americans, WWII veterans and young French recruits discover with horror an invisible enemy in the jungles of Indochina, years before the GI's and the Vietnam War.
