This duck stance deadlift variation is a great accessory for your posterior chain training.
The wide snatch-grip means you'll have to reach lower and lockout higher, effectively lengthening the range of motion while challenging the lats and upper back tightness.
Many folks find a more narrow conventional stance is a great way to target the glutes and hamstrings effectively, even if the technique is not used on maximal attempts. By lifting with heels-together, toes-out in the duck stance, we are exploring one end of the deadlift spectrum, opposite the wide sumo stance.
