This is the first flight of Ryan's P-40N Warhawk. It was built from a Ziroli kit. He finished it as the Sue Parish Warhawk,, done in desert pink. It took a year to build, you can find the build thread here:

Despite the unusual landing, the plane was not damaged. After some engine tuning, it flew again later that day and landed beautifully.
