Blurring the lines between Rock, Jazz and Pop, “If I Ever Lose My Faith in You” was one of our earliest Songs I Want to Play releases back in May 2020.
The original record was the lead single from Sting’s album, “Ten Summoner’s tales” released in 1993 and featured the mercurial drumming talents of Vinnie Colaiuta.
Jake wanted to pay homage to his hero Vinnie and selected this track. Catch him and the SIWTP performing this live version during our November 2022 show at The New Adelphi Theatre in Salford.
Our live performance also features an extended outro with stunning flugelhorn and sax solos from Nick Dewhurst and Tim France respectively.
