Touhou 東方幕華祭 永夜篇 ~ Fantastic Danmaku Festival Part III - Lunatic No-Death Clear (Marisa)

First try no-miss somehow.
Survival for just a clear definitely seems a bit too easy. On top of the border system and manual hyper activations, this also has the insane Imperishable Night bomb window which might as well be an autobomb. Couple this with the crazy supply of bombs and you'll almost never run out of resources.
I'm sure the upcoming Exa Arcadia arcade version will fix this. :)
They do promise an Ultra mode patch at the end but I don't think that fixes the resource issue.

The team that originally set the standard for the insane production values of Chinese Touhou fangames is back after 6 years. After doing their remakes of Touhou 6 and 7, they're now doing their remake of Touhou 8: Imperishable Night.

Amongst the many competition that has since arisen, these guys still continue to thrive and innovate in making these games even crazier than ever before. Beautiful graphics and atmosphere, with many original set pieces and endless variation. Tons of unique enemies and bullet sprites along the way. Making the games have true arcade production value. The music is also a big improvement over the previous games in my opinion, how much it syncs up with the fights is also really cool.

The familiar system is mostly the same and you can see many similar locations and characters, though they're not afraid to add their own flair to things.
Stage 2 almost feels like a lost Guwange or Shikhondo stage, crazy presentation here.
Stage 3 also has crazy set pieces: battleships, turrets and a high-speed section. With extremely innovative (for Touhou) ground-based enemies!
Stage 5 is nuts, with all the mecha enemies this almost feels like a Gunbird stage.
Stage 6 has an absolutely insane survival where you have to navigate a fortress. It's like that one Sine Mora boss but good.
Beyond awesome presentation.

Marisa is strong and very good in this, like she should.
I like how her shot is like a DDP shot, even with the hyper.

They changed a bunch of systems since the old demo from 7 months ago.
You can now switch between two shottypes on the fly and I think they removed the silly overload mechanic where you lost control of your character if you stacked too many borders.
