Mauritius Ep 4 — and this one is truly a “together day”.

Rupali and I set out for a beautiful ocean adventure — blue water, a breezy boat ride, and that feeling of doing something new side by side. I was the one who went into the water this time, snorkel on, GoPro ready, trying to capture those underwater moments… and honestly, after years, I’m just happy I finally did it.

Rupali didn’t go diving into the water — but she was right there through it all, cheering, laughing, and being my calm anchor while I got my “courage act” together. And then came her fun moment: she actually tried driving the boat we were on — and let me tell you, the confidence on that woman! Ocean breeze, big smile, and that “I’ve got this” energy.

We also headed towards Crystal Rock, enjoyed the windy ride, and soaked in the island vibes like proper travellers — slow, curious, and fully present. And then… something I had never seen before in my life: a floating shop in the ocean! Meeting Niko and hearing his story was one of those reminders that human beings can build a life out of pure creativity — even on water.

And of course, the perfect ending to an ocean day: lunch. Fresh grilled fish, prawns, all the good stuff — simple, local, and absolutely satisfying.

This episode is not just about adventure — it’s about sharing the experience. Two people, one trip, and a day that becomes a memory.
