Mipro has successfully delivered a new signalling system for the Kuopio railway yard in North Savonia. The project was carried out between 2022 and 2024 and was successfully commissioned during a nine-day traffic break. As a new feature, the interlocking system now includes, among other things, an EULYNX-standard-compliant interface to the ETCS level 2 radio protection system (RBC – Radio Block Center) and an interface to a railway drawbridge.
