Outlander | Jamie & Claire | At Last 💞 | Season 1 - 7

The theme and song of my Outlander video today is "At Last". It contains two wonderful versions of the Etta James classic, one by Luke Evans    • Luke Evans - At Last (Official Audio)   and one by Eva Cassidy    • Eva Cassidy - At Last   . For me, this song radiates happiness, contentment, bliss and lightness. It's about love having finally found you, about being able to call the person you desire and love yours. About falling in love, butterflies in your stomach, blue skies, sunshine and rose-colored glasses.
After all the drama in season 7b over the last few weeks and ahead of the big season finale on Friday (with even more drama, I'm sure), I thought some Jamie & Claire magic and romance couldn't hurt. That's how we all like to see them (and do it far too rarely): happy, in love, enjoying their lives together in peace.
The song fits perfectly with Jamie's early feelings for Claire. He was blown away by her. And when she became his wife and it became increasingly clear that there was something very special between them and she finally admitted her feelings for him, he was truly in heaven.
I wanted to make a video that conveys these feelings to you. That wraps you in a cozy feeling and brings a smile to your face and perhaps a sigh to your lips. And that's why it wasn't enough for me to just tell the song from Jamie's perspective. No, in the second part of the video, Claire is the one who is blissfully happy as Jamie is finally hers. Her perspective does not focus on the beginnings and falling in love, but on the pure happiness when she is reunited with him. About finally being able to live the life she always wanted, with him by her side. At last.
After all the videos I've made by now, I'm always amazed at how captivated I am watching Jamie & Claire when they are happy. Whether they are making love or just enjoying each other's presence, their love makes them shine. And their happiness then also shines into my life, puts a smile on my face and leaves me with a warm cozy feeling. I hope the video will do the same for you. Enjoy ✨💖✨
