Snubbed By A Snob is a 1940 Color Classics animated short from Fleischer Studios starring Hunky and Spunky, released on July 19, 1940 as part of the theatrical Color Classics series distributed by Paramount Pictures. In this colorful barnyard tale, a young racehorse’s mother dismisses the donkey Spunky for being “beneath” them, leading the colt to snub his friendship with Spunky. When the foal then overindulges on apples and water and gets into danger with a charging bull, it’s Spunky who courageously saves him.
