Diamond Circle Roadtrip | Iceland Travel Vlog

On our first full day in Iceland we took on the Diamond Circle! This is an incredible route in the northern region of Iceland which has some amazing sights including waterfalls, hot springs, beautiful fishing towns, and some must-do hikes.

We broke the trip along the circle into two days, the first one being shown in this video. We were able to see the small fishing town of Húsavík which was a fun and lively little town along the sea. Next, we headed along the road to a lookout point overlooking the cliffs at Tjörnes Peninsula. We finished off the day in one of our favorite ways - with a hike. These evening hikes are the best because you’re able to enjoy the nature with almost no one around, and it’s still really bright out because Iceland is so far north!

This first day was even better than expected and it left us really excited for what we were going to see in the next leg of the trip!
