As calm returns to my USA home, winter days slow down naturally — shaped by simple cooking, quiet cleaning, and gentle sewing done at an unhurried pace.
Slow living and cottagecore habits come together in soft light, familiar routines, and a calm rhythm that allows everyday life to unfold without pressure.

In today’s vlog, I’m sharing a full day of cooking, home routine, and family time. I started my day by preparing traditional dishes for guests, including flavorful Nihari cooked in a pressure cooker, aromatic Pulao, and homemade kebabs made from leftover meat. I also prepared a refreshing chana chaat using boiled chickpeas.

Along with guest preparations, I shared some healthy cooking too. I made healthy vegetable waffles for myself and talked about balancing cravings while trying to eat better. You’ll also see some light home cleaning as my kids were home, which usually makes the house messy quickly.

I used subtitles in this vlog so everyone can understand and translate it into their preferred language. Due to heat, the exhaust fan turned on automatically and caused noise, so some parts are muted.
