You know how powerful it is and how powerful it can be to get on the end of a trend day. This one is mainly for day traders but also for swing traders looking to get that early part of the day.

So let's look at some clues to spot a trend day before it happens. We need to know as early as possible if its going to be a trending day so we can get onboard it and treat it like a trend day; get our trades early and leave them for the day in the expectation that the trend is doing to run until the end of the trading day.

4 Ways to Spot a Trending Day Before it Happens
1) Prior days action - what happened yesterday - what happened the day before yesterday?
2) Overnight Range - the actual range itself (high minus the low) but also how it compares to previous ranges. What is the volume like?
3) 1st 15/30/60 minutes range - are they large compared to prior days' or weeks?
4) Price action of all.

The important thing is that if you think it is going to be a trend day is to place our trades and leave them alone... (don't try to be too clever with it).
