Reid tells Luke he's leaving and denies that he quit for him; Luke resigns from the hospital board to save Reid's job anyway. Reid finds out and goes to thank him, and the guys have an honest to goodness conversation that is SO THEM and clears up all their drama and seemingly signals the start of their relationship. Finally! And then Luke pulls on Reid's shirt collar instead of ravishing him. Because that makes sense.
