It's high school in season basketball strength training, so we're working on strength maintenance, power maintenance, injury prevention, and structural tissue integrity. Strength training during the season is super important for athletes, as they need to maintain strength levels, continue working on power, correct muscular imbalances, and prevent injuries through structural tissue training. We do a lot of medball work in this training, since it's awesome at power, core strength and stability, injury prevention, and shoulder integrity. When it comes to the strength training, it's nothing crazy, just some lifts to keep strength and build tissue, so you'll notice a good amount of isometric holds! Hope you enjoy!
