The Horton Creek Trail is a beautiful scenic hike near Payson, Arizona. This trail winds through a thick, luscious forest. You will hike along the creek with an abundance of waterfalls all along the way.
The further up stream you go, the heavier the water flows.
Horton Creek Trail is about 20 minutes east of Payson. It’s located in the Tonto National Forest near the base of the Mogollon Rim.
There is plenty of parking and a restroom at the trailhead.
