World Economic Forum BARS Iran FM’s Davos Entry After Khamenei Regime’s Deadly Crackdown On Protests

The World Economic Forum has withdrawn its invitation to Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi ahead of the Davos summit in Switzerland, citing escalating civilian deaths during nationwide protests in Iran. Rights groups welcomed the move after mounting pressure on WEF to deny Iranian officials an international platform. Advocacy group United Against Nuclear Iran said regime representatives should not be legitimized while protesters are being killed, arrested, and silenced. Human rights monitors report hundreds of protests, thousands of arrests, and nearly four thousand deaths, including children. The decision comes as the Trump administration says it is closely watching developments, amid rising Middle East tensions and discussions of possible U.S. responses.
