Slovakian prime minister Robert Fico has once again hit out at the European Union, alleging that the world does not take Europe seriously. In a phone call with German chancellor Friedrich Merz, Fico blamed what he called EU's 'nonsensical climate targets' and 'suicidal migration policies'. Recalling his conversation with Donald Trump and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Fico said the US president was acting in the interest of the nation. He added that if EU did the same, the situation would have been different.
