Dartmoor motorcycle loop - exploring the gravel roads

The “Dartmoor Loop” is a nice motorbike ride out of Napier. You head out along Dartmoor Road from "The Puketapu Hotel" (a popular stop). Dartmoor Road eventually becomes Waihau Road and changes to a gravel road. You can either follow Waihau Road all the way around until you join Puketitiri Road, or turn onto Price-Cockburn Road and Hawkston Road and back to Puketitiri Road.
I decided to have a bit more of an explorer around some of the gravel roads that join on to it.
Waldon Road was interesting. I might attempt the river crossing in summer when the water is lower and slower. I’m sure the Tiger is more than capable of crossing a river like that, but I'm also sure that I would have drowned the bike if I tried it by myself.
The Mangatutu Road was nice, with a short jaunt into the Mangatutu Station.
All of the roads were in very good condition.
