Slackware 14.2 Installation + Guest Additions on Oracle VirtualBox [2017]

This video tutorial shows Slackware 14.2 installation on Oracle VirtualBox step by step. This tutorial is also helpful to install Slackware 14.2 on physical computer or laptop hardware. We also install Guest Additions on Slackware Linux for better performance and usability features: Automatic Resizing Guest Display, Shared Folder, Seamless Mode and Shared Clipboard, Improved Performance and Drag and Drop.

Steps:
1- Create Virtual Machine on Oracle VirtualBox
2- Start Slackware 14.2 Installation
3- Install VirtualBox Guest Additions on Slackware Linux
4- Test Guest Additions Features: Automatic Resizing Guest Display and Shared Clipboard

Slackware 14.2 New Features and Improvements
Slackware is a Linux distribution created by Patrick Volkerding in 1993. Slackware has been the basis for many other Linux distributions. Slackware Linux is a complete multitasking "UNIX-like" system. Slackware Linux 14.2 comes with Linux kernel version 4.4, KDE 4.14, Xfce 4.12 and the 64-bit build of Slackware supports booting on UEFI-enabled hardware. Slackware 14.2 brings many updates and enhancements, among which you'll find two of the most advanced desktop environments available today: Xfce 4.12.1, a fast and lightweight but visually appealing and easy to use desktop environment, and KDE 4.14.21 desktop environment. These desktops use eudev, udisks, and udisks2, and many of the specifications from freedesktop.org which allow the system administrator to grant use of various hardware devices according to users' group membership so that they will be able to use items such as USB flash sticks, USB cameras that appear like USB storage, portable hard drives, CD and DVD media, MP3 players, and more, all without requiring sudo, the mount or umount command.
